Machinery Painter

We have a great career opportunity for a painter that is currently open. This position will be painting heavy machinery including hose reels, pumping stations & assorted fittings.

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Taping off and prepping surfaces prior to paint.
• Fix runs, body cracks & other imperfections during or after the painting process.
• Safely move large sub-assemblies in and out of paint booth.
• Follow safety guidelines when operating machinery & working in the paint area and throughout the manufacturing floor.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the painting trade, such as mixing & spray equipment.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to beginning the painting process.
• Have the ability to multitask and transition into other jobs or tasks on the floor as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Ability to Read Work Orders & Routing Slips.
• Forklift Operation Or Experience Required.
• Physically able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and ability to stand 8-10 hours.
• Component & Assembly Experience Preferred.
• Painting Experience Preferred.
