Job Summary

Hydro Engineering is looking to add another highly skilled Hydraulic Specialist to our Final Assembly team. We are looking for somebody who likes to work with his/her hands completing the large equipment that we manufacture. This person must be hard working, dependable and have attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Construct, assemble or rebuild machines and equipment, such as tool bars, booster pumps, hose reels and pitpal pumps.
Rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
Read and interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals and plan assembly or building operations.
Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Fasten or install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, or welding equipment.
Remove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools or power tools.
Evaluate material selection based on structural requirements, tolerances and sizing of system lines.
Assist with installation of hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics.
Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications.
Sign and comply with quality control checklist.

Qualifications

Completion of hydraulics program or 2-3 year experience with hydraulics.
Blueprint reading skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
High level of mechanical ability.
Basic Wiring Skills.
