Hydro Engineering’s Irrigation Division, located in Rockville, is looking to hire a motivated, hard-working individual who would like to have a career with a company that is growing and evolving in the Irrigation/Ag Market. Use your electrical education to obtain a career working outdoors and have the opportunity to be promoted to lead the irrigation division at our company.

Ideal candidate will have solid knowledge and understanding of irrigation equipment and center pivots, strong mechanical aptitude regarding electrical repair and maintenance, a valid drivers’ license, preferably a CDL. This position will require occasional weekday, overnight travel.

• Technical/Trade School or experience with center pivot irrigation equipment
• Broad base of irrigation equipment knowledge
• Strong aptitude regarding electrical repair and maintenance
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer pipelines and irrigation well pumps
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Accountability for all time on a repair order and for all material used in performing assigned duties
• Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
• Meets time expectations of punctuality and productivity
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment
• Welding experience beneficial
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to use a forklift/skid loader/dozer/track excavator/trencher
